Modern practices of creating energy are not renewable and are bad for the environment. The use of petroleum products create much pollution and when they run out they stay gone and we will be out of resources. For this reason clean energy is much better. Powering things through things like heat pumps, wind, water, and sunlight are much better for many reasons. First, they will not run out. Using these resources does not deplete them so we can theoretically fuel ourselves forever. Second, they do not create pollution. This will help the environment greatly. Third, the cost of using them after they are installed are much smaller then current methods. Therefore I believe clean energy is a good idea and a massive switch to these forms of power should be made to ensure we can regulate CO2 emissions and ensure our weather patterns aren’t disturbed by fossil fuel output which we can see is happening now.
